RIVER OF BLESSING BIBLE COLLEGE

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA

The first chartered school of divinity under the oversight of For His Glory Ministries & Bible College is River of Blessing Bible College in Lusaka, Zambia, which was founded by Dr. Angel Chisefu, its current president.  Such joy we have experienced in this relationship since being presented with its charter by Dr. B. L. Rice from Shalom Ministry, Inc. on August 7, 2005.

College President Dr. Angel Chisefu is married to Rev. Jenipher Chisefu, and they have 3 sons.   Dr. Chisefu  has been a church planter and pastor for many years and has a vision for River of Blessing Bible College to touch those not only in Zambia, but also those in the surrounding nations.  Many Bible schools in Zambia are only 2 year schools that give certificates or diplomas to their graduates.  Dr. Chisefu’s desire is to provide a means for pastors and church leaders to be further equipped with biblical degrees from an accredited School of Divinity.  For His Glory Bible College is accredited by the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions and is able to confer degrees from the associate through the doctoral levels.

Through this association, For His Glory works closely with Dr. Chisefu and River of  Blessing Bible College, providing them with spiritual and educational counsel and covering as well as administrative help.  This includes in part setting up degree programs for each student, sending them biblical courses, and conferring degrees upon their graduates.  Their first graduation ceremony was held in October 2006 when Dr. Kathy and Chet Bojanowski flew to Lusaka to officiate at the graduation along with Dr. Chisefu.  It was then—and in 2010 when FHG officials returned for another graduation– that the relationship between For His Glory and River of Blessing took on a more personal note, as they had opportunities to worship together and have fellowship over the Word of God and meals with family and students.

River of Blessing Bible College students are primarily pastors and leaders of churches who would like to add to the biblical foundations they already have in order to serve the Lord and their congregations in greater fullness.  Their desire is to “increase their biblical knowledge of truth for effective ministry”.  They are hungry for more of Him and more of His Word and they have hearts to reach the lost in their regions with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Many of these students are not only pastors, but also leaders in their denominations or fields of expertise, such as governmental agencies, public schools, universities and Bible schools.

May the Lord increase their vision and their sphere of influence, giving  them much favor as they love and serve Him in Zambia and even out into all the world!
